The sleeveless cape is going to be / will be a staple as part of the trans seasonal change. It is a go to piece for many right now, including us and we will continue to see them everywhere heading into spring. We love how this one item can completely change the look of an outfit. The sleeveless coat is chic, bold, eye catching and ever so versatile. With so many varieties in style and colour there is bound to be one that suits us all…or you could purchase a couple in different colours – to meet all your needs.
- Wear the coat over a long sleeve, with jeans and heels for a real chic look.
- Wear it over a white crisp shirt for the workplace
- Add a waist cinching belt, to add or show off some curves
- In summer wear it over a singlet top to show off your killer looking arms
Ideas are endless for this – our favourite trans seasonal piece…..take a look below for more inspro.
If your like me, you spend the majority of your time in office work clothes. Yes we wish we could dress like Olivia from Scandal or the models that grace our magazine in office attire, but in reality….with kids to organise, lunches to be made and morning routines to follow, we most probably aren’t looking like we want to. But we can! Dress to impress should be a daily motto. If you wanted to be taken seriously dress the part. If you want to rise through the ranks, take notice to what the female management are wearing and follow suit.
Dress smart, some perfect pieces for the office is tailored black pants, black heels, silk shirt. It doesn’t all have to be black and white. Throw some colour in by adding accessories, perhaps a statement necklace or coloured blazer. Just make sure you avoid anything item that shows off “too” much of anything and leave the six inch stiletto’s for the weekend.

We have finally hit summer, which means showing more skin, longer days, bbq dinners and glasses of white wine or Alicante. What do we need to get through this perfect time of year; dresses, short sleeve tops, shorts, skirts, sandals. I have bought a few items for my wardrobe already including these items below – but do have a couple of other items I have my eyes on….
I bought this dress mainly as a dress to wear to work on those hot days – it can also now be bought in a light blue colour. I really love it, dressed with a wedged sandal / heel and a coloured necklace it will be perfect for work. Ill also wear it more casually on the weekend with a flat sandal and can be worn with heels if I was wanting to dress it up for a night out.
I bought this dress as another work dress (yes its black again) – but I love the shirt dress. This one has the longer back hem line and sits beautifully. And this one is a little dresser than the other, I am really looking forward to wearing this one out with heels – just haven’t decided what statement necklace to wear with it.
I had wanted the Chambray utility pant from Country Road for quite some time, so I finally bought them with the spend and save offer they have had on. Mainly for the weekend, on those cooler nights. Though I have seen the chambray pant being rocked with a pair of heels….not sure if ill get there. If you have wanted a pair yourself, these are the ones to get as with all Country Road items there quality is at its best. During the spend and save I purchased a couple of the Country Road Linen tees – these are the best quality ones I have ever purchased, usually the linen tees over stretches and becomes loose around neck, but the County Road ones are perfect – do not buy any others except these and they come in a huge range of colours.
Printed Pants are everywhere these days (and we don’t think they are going away any time soon). We love them, they are a great alternative to jeans and plain black pants. They can also be worn for all your occasions – work, weekend, night out, Sunday drinks. They are also usually quite light in fabric weight making them perfect for the up and coming hot weather we will be having.
Everyone can wear a printed pant – the key is to keep the pants the focal point, you want to keep everything else as neutral as possible, by wearing nude shoes and cream/white/grey tops. Black will always work too.
Though be sure to match your top colour with one in your pants for a beautifully blended look. Easy!
Perfect combination for the workplace
Keeping it neutral
Perfect for a night out
Keeping is casual for the weekend
